This Penguin tote bag is crafted from high-quality cotton canvas, offering a soft and lightweight feel and the benefit of repeated reuse and washibility. It's durable cotton canvas fabric and robust handles are designed to withstand daily wear and tear, while providing ample space for your essentials, such as books, laptops and tablets.
Unique story behind the tote bag: it was handmade by local women in Tanzania, who are part of the Mabiniti Center in Dar es Salaam. This center offers a 12-month training program to former patients of the Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation Center, teaching them valuable income-generating skills. After completing the program, these women return to their communities to start their own sewing businesses.
